” Dear RUMUNA members and supporters,

With great pride, I reflect on the incredible journey of the Rajshahi University Model United Nations Association (RUMUNA), which began with a bold vision in 2013. What started as an aspiration to inspire young minds, foster diplomacy, and cultivate the leaders of tomorrow has grown into a legacy of impactful events and remarkable achievements.

In the past decade, RUMUNA has continuously proven its commitment to excellence. From co-organizing the UNYSAB MUN 2014 to exclusively hosting the North Bengal Model United Nations in 2015 and 2024 and proudly hosting the first National Model United Nations Conference in 2016, our association has left an indelible mark on the MUN community. Each year, we have strived to elevate the quality and reach of our conferences, consistently delivering opportunities for students to engage with global issues and develop leadership skills.

The journey of RUMUNA has not only been about hosting conferences but also about creating a space where diplomacy, collaboration, and mutual respect thrive. The 6th edition of RUMUM in 2022 was a testament to the growth and dedication of our members, and I do not doubt that the years ahead will bring even greater accomplishments.

As an advisor, it fills me with immense pride to see how far we’ve come and the lasting impact we continue to have on young leaders. I look forward to supporting each of you as we build on this incredible legacy, shaping the future of diplomacy and leadership together.

Sincerely,
Prof. Parvaz Azharul Huq, PhD

” Welcome to the Rajshahi University Model United Nations Association (RUMUNA).
As the adviser of this esteemed organization, I am honored to guide and support a team of passionate individuals dedicated to diplomacy, critical thinking, and global engagement. Model United Nations is more than just a simulation—it is a platform for students to develop leadership skills, foster international understanding, and advocate for meaningful change.

Our association provides an enriching environment where members can debate global issues, draft resolutions, and collaborate with peers from diverse backgrounds. Through RUMUNA, students not only enhance their public speaking and negotiation skills but also cultivate empathy and a deeper awareness of world affairs.
I encourage all members to actively participate, challenge themselves, and make the most of this transformative experience. Whether you are a seasoned delegate or new to RUMUNA, this is a place for learning, growth, and impact.
Looking forward to an exciting journey ahead! “
